Details include top-quality 800-fill-power premium European goose down stabilized with quilted-through construction, two exterior zippered pockets and a stretch-mesh interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuffsack with a carabiner clip-in loop. Nylon-bound elastic cuffs and drawcord hem seal in warmth, and the DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds moisture.

Terrific lightweight and packable down jacket I bought this in gray on sale at my local REI for $169.99. Here’s why I like this.1. Patagonia makes first rate products and this is one of them. The stitching is impeccable and this looks even better in person than in the picture on Amazon. I don’t hesitate to wear it to the office as well as for casual use.2. This is extremely lightweight, not bulky at all for a down jacket (it’s called a “sweater” so you don’t confuse this with a heavy duty down jacket for extreme cold conditions), and easily packs into itself. It packs into an internal pocket that can be zippered shut. Perfect for going to the airport during the winter.3. This has a slim fit. With a thin tee shirt and thin wool sweater on underneath this is comfortable but snug. It extends a couple of inches below the waistline, so if you want to wear a shell on top, you need a shell that is a little longer if you don’t want this showing through at the bottom.4.
