Superb After finally starting to watch Mad Men, I know I’m a little late to the cocktail party, my friend bought this guide for me. It is eloquent, to the point but not blunt. The illustrations are classic 60’s style, I almost want to cut them out and mount them on a mat board, frame them, and hang them around the apartment. The cocktail recipes are almost exactly to my liking and instructions are very easy to follow. My only qualm is that I don’t care too much for maraschino cherries, I prefer the real thing, but that’s really no big deal. Overall a great buy for a fan of Mad Men, for a guy who likes a properly fitted suit, or appreciates a finely mixed cocktail – like the Old Fashioned I’m currently enjoying as I write my first Amazon review.

Fun Book Good, informative book with great graphic design. It shows etiquette, recipes, and general history and behavior of society when it comes to cocktails. Recommend to anyone.

This book is attractive and does well to mimic the Mad Men style artistry. That is about all that could be said. The organization of the book is terrible. I’ve found many of the cocktail recipes to be off. Really disappointed in this.
